BARE BONES AND BRANCHES - 10th ANNIVERSARY DELUXE CASSETTE EDITION

The US version of Bare Bones and Branches was released in 2005 via the good people of Summersteps Records. Here's the decade-mark cassette and digital edition re-issue. 4 bonus tracks originally on the Delboy Records European import version. Stream and purchase direct via BandCamp

Recording 'Bare Bones and Branches' was no romantic Thoreau affair. It was necessity. I had just returned from touring solo and I was in between residences, living in my van and sometimes crashing at my friend's cabin in

"TWO TREES" VIDEO PREMIERED ON FOLK RADIO UK

Folk Radio UK is hosting the video for "Two Trees", view the video and the full article here

The child reading the story is my son Julian, who was in the first grade at the time of recording. He came home from school with a reader called The Oak Tree and the Fir Tree. It was weird because this idea had been on my mind a lot. Trees must be pliable and bend in order to weather a storm. Even if a tree has the appearance of being stout, if it’s brittle on the inside it will snap. I was thinking about this a

'THE CASTLE INN SESSIONS' LIVE VIDEO PREMIERED BY ONDAROCK

5 songs from Triumvirate, shot and tracked live in a former grand hotel. The premiere is hosted by the excellent Italian music site Ondarock, accompanied by an article of historical context by film-maker/historian Dan Papa. He connects our session with The Shining,  discusses reverb handcuffs, and mentions Teddy Roosevelt's hotel room in Delaware Water Gap, PA. It's quite interesting.

VIDEO FOR "THE RIDE" HOSTED BY POPMATTERS

PopMatters has premiered the video for "The Ride". You can view it here. It is a very special song from Triumvirate that was brought to life when my lifelong friend Keats Rickard offered to co-direct and shoot the video. It was filmed in Delaware Water Gap, PA, our home...and an especially magical place in the fall. The story depicts my own family members in a a dream-world which contains symbols and metaphors for our togetherness and other states of being that you will have to watch to experience.

HUFFINGTON POST ARTICLE - THE FULL DISCLOSURE

In the case of musician Lou Rogai this redemption takes the form of a double LP three years in the making. NEW SINGLE: "THE SILVER SEA" ON STEREOGUM

Rogai talks about his “return from the abyss” in his 11-minute segment. It follows him and his young son, Julian, on a hike and features picturesque views of the mountainous region of Pennsylvania where they live. Rogai says, “Lewis & Clarke is based on intuition, it is based on what I feel.” Which helps to explain the honesty and emotional depth in this song. Watch the episode here and listen below.
